The National Assembly Building, also known as the Ba Dinh Hall, is the new office and the place where the plenary meetings of the National Assembly of Vietnam regularly take place. In 2009, the National Assembly Building started construction in the political center of Ba Dinh, located on Doc Lap Street, overlooking Ba Dinh Square, next to the archaeological site of 18 Hoang Dieu and opposite the President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. This is the largest and most complex office building built in Vietnam since the country's unification with modern architecture and the integration of advanced technology and equipment application solutions.
The National Assembly Building of Vietnam is a cube, the square plan represents "land", and "mother". In the middle is the circular main meeting room symbolizing "sun", and "father". These two architectural blocks can also be viewed as the image of "banh Chung - banh Day" (which is a savory sticky rice cake). One of the familiar symbols when referring to Vietnam.
On each special occasion and important event in the country, the National Assembly Building is the place chosen to organize because of its great significance to the people of Vietnam.
In particular, meetings, conferences, and telephonic calls to convey information for domestic and diplomatic purposes also take place regularly at this building. Therefore, to ensure that the conference process is smooth and convenient, without information interference, the managers of the National Assembly Building have paid great attention to the selection and use of suitable cables, ensuring good signal transmission quality.
On October 12, 2009, the National Assembly Building of Vietnam project was announced to start construction by Nguyen Tan Dung, who served as the Prime Minister of Vietnam from 2006 to 2016. The project investor was the Ministry of Construction and the Joint venture gmp International GmbH - Inros Lackner AG (Federal Republic of Germany) became the main consultant for the project. Therefore, the most sought-after cable products used in construction are German cables. At the moment, we were working with 2 major partners to support the necessary cable products for the project, namely IBS (Vietnam Service Industry Construction Joint Stock Company) and REE Group (as a partner in previous projects such as Hanoi Museum and Can Tho Airport).
According to Mr. Duong Hong Phong, Technical Manager of IBS Company, he said that HELUKABEL becoming a cable system supplier for the National Assembly Building is not only based on product quality, but the excellent support of our sales staff was the deciding factor. We, HELUKABEL Vietnam have provided cables such as OZ-500 control, PAAR-TRONIC-CY data, NHXH safety, E-BUS, JE-H(St)H installation, and J-Y(St)Y indoor telecommunication cables were all used. Around 1,000 kilometers (621 miles) of cable were required just to network the 80 conference rooms together, which are spread over eight floors, covering a total surface area of over 60,000 square meters (645,830 square feet).
Since signing the contract to supply cable products in 2013, in 2014, the system has started to be put into direct use and bring good experiences to the project.
We, HELUKABEL Vietnam are very happy and proud to have contributed a small part to the success of the Vietnam National Assembly Building project. We still strive every day to best meet the requirements set forth by our customers, not only in terms of product quality but also in service quality.
