WATER DANCE IN PHU QUOC ISLAND

In performance arts, Vortex is known as one of the most modern projection technologies in the world today. Vortex is a technology that requires the perfect combination of not only sound, light, and visual effects but also laser, water, fire, and captivating storytelling. The stage for the water music performance is built on the sea, this is the signature and also one of the big challenges of the project. This means the cable systems must be exposed and immersed in seawater for a long time and require cables to be able to work well with a stable signal even under seawater.

A representative of the project said: “This project has encountered many great challenges, the project progress is quite urgent, the project will start to be deployed in early 2022 and must go into trial operation in December 2022. In Particular, we have difficulty finding the right cable supplier for the project since domestic cables in Asia does not meet the technical requirements for the ability to be immersed in water with a salinity of up to 3.2% of seawater. Even if they can meet the technical requirements, it is still not possible to meet the delivery time because they are

unavailable and need time to produce. Therefore, the quality of the cable and the delivery time are the two big problems that we face.” Besides, the representative of the project also shared: “In the period from April to May, when the project progress is very urgent, if there is no salt-resistant wire, the project will be difficult to complete in time. We had to check and ask many companies to find a manufacturer that met the specifications. And HELUKABEL is also one of the brands that we found during the survey.”

When we received information about this project, we, HELUKABEL Vietnam were happy because the products that we provide completely meet the technical requirements, can be submerged in water, and withstand the salinity of the seawater. However, the delivery time is also a challenge for us, because to meet the project schedule, we need to deliver the goods earlier than usual and it is relatively difficult to import goods from our manufacturing plant in Germany to Vietnam. To solve this problem, we have chosen air shipment. With the efforts of the whole team, especially the logistics department and the sales department who always follow

up and support customers, we have provided the number of cables on time according to the expected time for customers.

A representative of the project shared: “The installation of cables is fast, from the time of receiving the goods to the time of installing them on the cable tray, it is only 1-2 weeks, but the important thing is that the source of goods meets all the specifications and delivery schedule to the site as expected. We are delighted that the project was able to be completed on schedule.”

The Sun Signature Show water music stage is a place to tell a fairy tale love story full of romance with unforgettable emotions at the two prongs of the Proclamation - the symbol of eternal love in the South of Phu Quoc. This stage is a project inspired by the spectral image of black holes in the universe, the main stage consists of three concentric arcs arranged in succession to create depth and a 3D feeling for the show. The stage was built on a lake with a diameter of up to 100 meters, a depth of 1 meter, a volume of 7900m3, and a capacity of up to 5000 spectators. With this scale and class, the Sun Signature Show water music stage is compared to the world's top famous shows such as Wings of Time in Singapore.

Phu Quoc is an island located in the Gulf of Thailand and is also the largest island in Vietnam. Administratively, Phu Quoc island with its neighboring smaller islands and the Tho Chu archipelago, 55 nautical miles to the southwest, composes Phu Quoc island city under Kien Giang province. Phu Quoc is an attractive tourist destination, attracting many domestic and foreign tourists to visit and relax. In 2022, when the Sun Signature Show project is completed, visitors will be immersed in the "water dances" with a wonderful combination of Vortex technology. Phu Quoc will certainly become an ideal stopover and bring eye-catching performances to visitors.
