HELURECYCLE Campaign: Less Bottles - More Impact
Did you know? Every minute, over 1 million plastic bottles are consumed worldwide, and most are not properly recycled. As a result, microplastics enter our water and food sources, posing serious risks to both the environment and human health.
The journey to a greener future starts with us! In celebration of World Recycling Day (March 18), we HELUKABEL Vietnam proudly launch “HELURECYCLE: Less Bottles – More Impact”, calling on all employees to take action in reducing plastic waste and fostering a sustainable workplace.
Campaign objectives
Collect plastic bottles sorted into PET, HDPE groups and send them to a qualified recycling company.
How to participate?
Recyclable bottles must belong to the following categories:
- PET #1 plastic: Transparent plastic commonly used for water bottles.
- HDPE #2 plastic: Hard, colorful plastic often used for liquid containers, bottle caps and rings.
Preparation steps for recycling:
1. Clean and dry plastic bottles
2. Classify your plastics into different bags and count the unit quantity
3. Scan the QR code at Plastic Collection House to register your contribution
4. Put your plastics into the designated sorting area at Plastic Collection House
PLASTIC Collection House is placed at the HELUKABEL Vietnam office. Plastics must be cleaned and classified according to the instructions provided.
Each plastic component (PET bottles, HDPE caps, etc.) earns 1 point. Participants who accumulate 30 and above points will receive special gifts as our appreciation for eco-friendly efforts.
How gift points are rewarded:
- From 50 to 100 points: 1 plant pot made from recycled plastic with a seed envelope
- From 101 to 200 points: 1 box of 3 pairs of socks made from recycled plastic
- From 201 to 300 points: 1 convertible backpack made from recycled plastic
- 300+ points: 1 wall clock made from recycled plastic
