SOLARFLEX®-X H1Z2Z2-K NTS is a single-core cable built to avoid rodent threats, which is in alignment with DIN VDE 0283-618 and DIN EN 50618 Standards. It performs optimally in temperatures from -40°C to +90°C, with a permissible operating temperature of +120°C, significantly reducing fire and explosion risks.

Tested at 6500V, this cable has a nominal voltage of 1000V (AC) and 1500V (DC), with a minimum bending radius of five times larger than its outer diameter, meeting installation flexibility requirements for solar panels.

SOLARFLEX®-X H1Z2Z2-K NTS cable is available in black, red, and blue. Red is typically used for the positive pole, black for the negative, and blue as an alternative to black depending on design standards. Each color offers cross-section options of 4 mm², 6 mm², and 10 mm², with outer diameters ranging from 5.9 to 8.4 mm, details as follows:

This cable is constructed with finely twisted, tinned copper conductors according to DIN VDE 0295 Class 5 and IEC 60228 Class 5 Standards. The insulation and outer sheaths are made of cross-linked compound (XLPE), providing robust durability. Especially, the German V2A stainless steel braid covers 80-85% of the cable surface, offering enhanced protection against abrasion, bending, and rodent damage.

2.3. Cable properties

Optimally designed for outdoor applications, SOLARFLEX®-X H1Z2Z2-K NTS cable is resistant to UV radiation, ozone, and weather exposure. It is also halogen-free, meeting DIN VDE 0482-754-1, DIN EN 60754-1, and IEC 60754-1 Standards. In addition, it is flame-retardant with low smoke density as certified by VDE, EN, and IEC standards.
